At our pediatric clinic, we offer a wide range of therapy services to support the diverse needs of children and families. Our therapies are designed to promote development, address challenges, and improve overall well-being. The services we provide include:
Physical Therapy (PT): Helps children improve mobility, strength, coordination, and motor skills. PT can address issues like delayed motor development, injury recovery, or conditions that affect movement.
Speech Therapy (ST): Focuses on improving communication skills, including articulation, language development, social communication, and speech fluency. This service supports children with speech delays, stuttering, or language disorders.
Occupational Therapy (OT): Aims to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills. OT helps children develop independence in tasks like writing, dressing, eating, and self-care.
Infant Massage: Promotes relaxation and bonding with your baby, and improves digestion and sleep.
Child and Family Counseling: Provides emotional and psychological support for children and their families. Our counselors help with issues like anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, family dynamics, and coping strategies.
Feeding Therapy: Supports children with feeding difficulties, such as picky eating, texture aversions, or issues related to chewing and swallowing. This therapy helps children develop healthier eating habits and overcome food-related challenges.
Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP): A therapeutic listening program designed to help children and families improve emotional regulation, reduce stress, and enhance social engagement. SSP is particularly helpful for children with autism, sensory processing disorders, or trauma-related concerns.
Small Group Instruction: In addition to one-on-one therapy, we offer small group instruction for children who benefit from peer interaction and group learning. These sessions are designed to foster social skills, communication, and teamwork in a structured, supportive environment.
Each therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of your child, ensuring they receive the best care possible. Our team of skilled professionals works together to create a comprehensive treatment plan that supports your child's growth and development in all areas of life

Determining whether your child or family could benefit from therapy can be a challenging decision, but there are several signs that may indicate the need for support. If you notice any of the following, it could be helpful to consult with a pediatric therapist for an evaluation:
Physical Therapy (PT):
Difficulty with balance, coordination, or walking.
Delayed motor milestones, such as crawling, walking, or running.
Complaints of pain, discomfort, or limited range of motion during play or physical activity.
Trouble with tasks like climbing stairs, catching a ball, or participating in sports.
Occupational Therapy (OT):
Struggles with fine motor skills, such as holding a pencil, tying shoes, or using utensils.
Difficulty with self-care tasks like dressing, feeding, or toileting.
Sensory sensitivities, such as being overly sensitive to textures, sounds, or lights, or avoiding certain sensory experiences.
Trouble focusing, organizing tasks, or completing schoolwork due to motor or sensory challenges.
Speech Therapy (ST):
Delayed speech or language development (e.g., not speaking or using limited vocabulary by expected age).
Difficulty pronouncing words clearly, making speech hard to understand.
Trouble following directions, understanding or using language appropriately for their age.
Challenges with social communication, such as initiating or maintaining conversations, understanding social cues, or forming relationships with peers.
Child Counseling:
Persistent sadness, anxiety, or mood swings in your child.
Difficulty coping with changes such as moving, school transitions, or family events.
Behavioral concerns, like tantrums, aggression, or withdrawal.
A child or family member struggling with trauma, loss, or difficult emotions.
Family Counseling:
Feeling overwhelmed or unable to cope with the stress of parenting, work, or other life challenges.
Experiencing anxiety, depression, or significant mood changes.
Difficulty communicating or connecting with your child, impacting family dynamics or relationships.
Wanting guidance on how to support your child’s emotional or developmental needs more effectively.
If you’re noticing any of these signs or have concerns about your child’s development, behavior, or emotional well-being, it’s a good idea to reach out for a consultation. Early intervention can make a significant difference in your child’s progress, and therapy services can provide the tools and support needed to foster growth, learning, and emotional health.
Our team of experienced pediatric therapists is here to help guide you through the process and create a personalized plan that best meets your child’s needs. If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for your child, we offer assessments to determine the most appropriate course of action.

The length and frequency of therapy sessions vary depending on your child's individual needs and goals. Our therapists will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that includes the optimal number of sessions per week and the duration of each session.
The evaluation process is an important first step in understanding your child’s needs and developing a personalized therapy plan. Here’s what you can expect:
Intake Form: Before the evaluation, you will be asked to complete an intake form. This form gathers important information about your child's medical history, developmental milestones, concerns, and any specific goals or challenges you’d like to address through therapy. This helps our therapists understand your child's background and tailor the evaluation to focus on the areas most relevant to your child's needs.
Scheduling the Evaluation: Once we receive the completed intake form, we will schedule an appointment for the evaluation. Depending on your child’s needs, the evaluation lasts approximately 60 minutes.
Evaluation Session: During the evaluation, the therapist will observe and interact with your child in a supportive, comfortable environment. The session will include a variety of activities designed to assess your child’s abilities, challenges, and developmental milestones. The therapist may ask you questions about your child’s history, behavior, and progress to gain a comprehensive understanding.
Sending the Evaluation to Your Doctor and Payer: After the evaluation, the therapist will prepare a detailed report that summarizes their findings, treatment recommendations, and goals for therapy. This evaluation will be sent to your child’s doctor (if applicable) and the payer (insurance company, if necessary) for approval before therapy services begin. This ensures that any medical or insurance requirements are met and that therapy can start as soon as possible.
Once the evaluation is complete and approved, your therapist will discuss the next steps with you and create a therapy plan that’s tailored to your child’s individual needs and goals. We strive to make the evaluation process as smooth and straightforward as possible, ensuring that your child receives the best care from the very beginning of their therapy journey.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and there may be times when you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To ensure that we can offer our services to all families in need, we have the following cancellation policy:
24-Hour Notice Required: All cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us time to offer the appointment slot to another child who may need therapy.
Missed Sessions: If you miss a session, you are required to make up the session within 2 weeks. We will work with you to reschedule a makeup appointment at a mutually convenient time.
No Shows: Any absence without prior notice of less than 24 hours (non-emergency or illness-related) will be considered a no show. No shows take away valuable appointment time for other children and may disrupt your child’s progress.
Repeated No Shows or Failure to Make Up Sessions: If a child accumulates more than 2 no shows or fails to make up missed sessions within the 2-week window, it may result in dismissal from therapy services. We want to ensure that all children are able to receive the full benefit of their therapy, and consistent attendance is essential for progress.
We understand that occasional cancellations happen, and we strive to be flexible in emergency situations. If your child is ill or there’s an emergency, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will work with you to reschedule. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of our policy, as it helps us provide the best possible care for all our families.

Yes, we believe it is important for parents and caregivers to be involved in their child’s therapy sessions whenever possible. Your presence can provide valuable support to your child and help you better understand the strategies and techniques being used in therapy.
In most cases, parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend therapy sessions and participate in the activities, especially during the early stages of treatment. This allows you to observe your child’s progress, ask questions, and learn how to support them at home.
There may be some situations where the therapist recommends a session without the parent or caregiver present, such as when focusing on specific therapeutic goals or giving your child space to build independence in certain tasks. However, these decisions are always made with your child’s best interests in mind, and we will keep you informed and involved in the process.
We also encourage communication between therapy sessions. Our therapists are happy to discuss your child’s progress, answer any questions, and provide guidance on how you can support your child outside of the therapy setting. Together, we can ensure that your child gets the most out of their therapy experience.

The health and safety of your child, our staff, and all families are our top priority. We have implemented a variety of measures to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. Here’s what we have in place:
Regular Sanitation: Our clinic follows strict cleaning and sanitization protocols. All therapy rooms, equipment, and common areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected regularly. We use alcohol based disinfectants to ensure that surfaces and equipment are safe for your child. High-touch areas, such as door handles and restrooms, are also sanitized frequently.
Illness Policy: To prevent the spread of illness, we ask that children (and adults) refrain from attending therapy sessions if they are experiencing symptoms of illness, such as fever, vomiting, or any contagious condition. Specifically, we request that children be fever- and vomit-free for at least 24 hours before returning to therapy. This helps ensure that your child is fully recovered and helps protect other children and staff from illness.
Hand Hygiene: We encourage everyone to wash their hands before and after each session. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the clinic, and we ask that both children and adults use them upon entering and exiting the facility.
We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all our families, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us follow these policies. If you have any concerns or specific health needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we will be happy to work with you to ensure your child’s care is as safe and effective as possible.

Yes, we do offer teletherapy sessions for speech therapy and counseling services. These virtual sessions allow your child to receive therapy from the comfort of home, making it a convenient option when in-person visits aren’t possible.
To participate in teletherapy, you’ll need a device with both audio and visual capabilities (such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone) and a stable internet connection. Our therapists will guide you through the process of setting up the session and ensure everything is working smoothly before starting

Supporting your child’s therapy goals at home is a crucial part of their progress and success. There are several ways you can reinforce what your child is working on in therapy and help them practice between sessions:
Follow the Therapist’s Recommendations: After each therapy session, your child’s therapist will provide you with specific strategies, activities, or exercises to do at home. These might include things like practicing speech sounds, working on fine motor skills, or completing sensory activities. Be sure to follow through with these activities as part of your child’s daily routine.
Be Consistent: Regular practice is key to reinforcing new skills. Incorporate therapy goals into your child’s everyday activities. For example, if your child is working on fine motor skills, encourage them to practice tasks like buttoning shirts or drawing. If speech is a focus, try using new words in daily conversations.
Celebrate Small Wins: Recognize and celebrate your child’s progress, no matter how small. Positive reinforcement, such as praise or a reward system, can motivate your child to continue practicing and feel good about their efforts.
Maintain Open Communication with Your Therapist: Keep the lines of communication open with your child’s therapist. Share updates on how your child is doing at home and any challenges you’re facing. The therapist may offer additional strategies or modify activities to better suit your child’s needs.
Stay Patient and Encouraging: Therapy progress takes time, and it’s important to be patient with your child as they work through challenges. Encourage effort over perfection and keep the experience fun and engaging to build confidence.
By working together with your therapist and consistently practicing at home, you can help your child reach their therapy goals and continue making positive progress. If you ever have questions or need guidance on how to support therapy at home, feel free to ask your child’s therapist for additional tips or resources.

Yes, we do offer group therapy sessions. Groups are available based on current interest and need. Group sessions provide a great opportunity for children to work on social skills, communication, and collaboration in a structured, supportive environment with peers.
However, group therapy is not always available, as it depends on the number of families interested and the specific needs of the children. If you're interested in group therapy for your child, please reach out to us to inquire about upcoming group opportunities. We’ll be happy to discuss whether group therapy would be a good fit and let you know when new groups are forming.
Our priority is always to provide the best possible care for each child, so if a group setting is not available, we will continue to offer individual therapy sessions tailored to your child’s needs.
